Coming from the Japanese horology company which started the Quartz Revolution that endangered most of the watch making industry back in the 70s, Seiko, is the Seiko QF723B which features quarter and hour chimes with two chime options, the Westminster and the Whittington chimes. From its piano finish wooden body to that refined sunburst pearl white dial, this clock echoes beauty as it chimes the time audible at any point in the house at maximum volume. Price: 3,000 Php Specifications: -Reference Number: QF723B -Make: Japan -Movement: Quartz -Features: Quarter and Hour Chimes, Westminster and Whittington Chime Options, Maroon Piano-Finish Wooden Body, Pearl White Sunburst Dial, Straight Baton Hands, Index Hour Markers, Metal Legs -Battery: Type D battery* *Battery slot is a little loose due to age but can be and have been tightened through simple cardboard inserts as seen on the third photo. The modification is reliable and keeps the battery firm in its position. Directions: 1. Make sure that the second hand is at 12:00 and stopped using the Start-Stop lever of the movement 2. Set the time using the Setting Wheel 3. Insert the Type D Battery 4. Press the AM or PM button depending on the currently set time times the number of current hour plus one [If it's 7:00 PM, press the PM button 8 times] 5. Switch back the Start-Stop Lever to Start 6. Choose a chime [Chime 1: Westminster Chime; Chime 2: Whittington Chime] 7. Set the Volume 8. Close the back cover of the clock The clock should chime an hour chime [four quarter chimes] and strikes equal to the number of the current hour plus one upon set up. During its run, the clock should chime one, two, and three quarter chimes every :15, :30, and :45 respectively and an hour chime every :00 with strikes times the number of the current hour.
