This gerbera flower seed mix produces compact plants scarcely a foot high and not as wide and with gorgeous, large blooms on pencil-thick stems. The seed mix colour contains warm shades of pink, rose and watermelon-red, very frilly petaled with flowers reaching to 3 1/2-4” wide. They appear above the large, lovely dark green foliage on compact, sturdy little plants that will bloom in 14weeks after sowing the seeds. The flowers are very long-lasting both in the garden or in the vase. Gerbera daisy plants are tender perennial. They grow everywhere as a colourful annual and have a tremendously long blooming season. The flowers love the full sun and appreciates deep, rich soil, so work in compost and other organics and keep the water coming. How to sow: Use starter trays and sterile potting mix. Place the pointed end of the seed down when sowing and barely cover the seeds as they need light to germinate. Cover the tray with a clear plastic wrap as this will keep the soil warm and moist. Always make sure the soil stays moist in germinating. Water as needed. Place the tray in a warm, sunny location (not in direct sunlight) at 70F. Germination takes 15-20days. NOTE: simple packing with no instructions included Price: 5seeds/pack at php175.00
